The course prepares students for employment in the travel, tourism or airline industries with the likes of attractions, tour operators, travel agents, hotels or hospitality and holiday park leisure providers, and provides a route into university.

This one-year course provides a strong introduction to scientific theory, whilst supporting you to develop practical and transferable skills, enabling you to progress on to the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Applied Science.

Study at a local partner college, undertake work-based learning opportunities in both years and have the option to ‘top-up’ to a full bachelors degree with a third year of study at East Durham College.
