The Technical Academy is a state-of-the-art facility on the Southwest Industrial Estate of Peterlee Business Park. 37,000 square feet in side, the Technical Academy is designed to simulate a realistic working environment for students studying engineering, motor vehicle, plumbing & heating engineering or electrical.
The TA is packed full of the latest equipment and facilities for our students, including a new hybrid and electric vehicle suite, state-of-the-art engineering workshop and IT facilities, plumbing and heating renewable energy suite and a dedicated workshop for electrical students.
Students at the Academy are taught by the very best; we employ a team of highly-skilled lecturers and technicians with years of experience in industry, ensuring every student through the TA’s doors leaves with the right skills, professional manner and abilities to succeed in the world of work.

Electro-Technical Technology
