To ensure our learners get access to the very best while at college, EDC has invested heavily in the development of our next-generation T Level facilities.
Originally starting in September 2022, the college has since redeveloped several existing areas across our three campuses, ready for the introduction of T Level programmes as and when they launch.
It's all about being the next generation college, ready for the next generation of amazing people coming through our doors!

The Grove Restaurant & Commercial Kitchens
In 2023, the college completely revamped its existing restaurant space.
The Grove is a beautiful new restaurant which is open to the public, giving our catering students the opportunity to cook food for real, paying customers.
The restaurant also offers a bistro service on a daily basis, allowing students to gain valuable front-of-house experience too.
As part of the revamp, the college also further expanded its existing commercial kitchen space. This features a new walk-in fridge/freezer and further areas with new ovens and kitchen equipment for students to use as part of their training.
While the T Level in catering is yet to be confirmed, our kitchens and restaurant are ready for the next generation of learning.
T Level in Education & Childcare - Childcare Lecture Theatre & Nursery Observation Room
If you're coming to study childcare at EDC, you'll also get to use our childcare lecture theatre!
This space operates just like you'd expect a lecture theatre, with raised seating complete with individual tables so you can jot down important stuff in your notepad!
The lecture theatre space also includes a nursery observation room, directly connected to our on-site nursery, Positive Steps. This space allows those studying childcare to observe interactions with the children in the nursery, learning to care for them in a more effective manner.
Finally, this space also includes its own kitchen.
Coming Soon!
We'll have even more to show very soon, including an exciting new refurbishment of our creative industries department, including the theatre, dance studio and media rooms.
