At EDC, we have a long-standing relationship with a wide variety of amateur theatre production companies, as well as other companies who regularly use our theatre to host events.
About the Lubetkin Theatre
East Durham College operates the only dedicated theatre in the East Durham area, and it's completely open to the public to hire for external events.
We're located just off the A19 in Peterlee, within easy access from the surrounding North East.
The theatre is fully configurable to your needs. Whether you're performing a pantomime or a dramatic play, screening a film, hosting an event, hosting an awards ceremony or just want to demonstrate a product to a wide group of people, the Lubetkin theatre is perfect for the job.

Equine Facility Hire
East Durham College's incredible, multi-million pound equine centre is available for external bookings! Our amazing facility includes both indoor and outdoor arenas, as well as full livery for horses (depending on availability).
