This T Level in Animal Management and Science has been developed with experts and employers within the animal sector to ensure you learn the skills and knowledge to progress into a rewarding career. Develop your practical skills at our land-based campus, working with over 70 species in our on-site animal unit and farm, and expand your knowledge of animal management and science.

Combine academic study with research-based learning in this one-year Animal Management Bachelor of Science Degree. This course is a top-up from the FdSc Animal Management Degree, but is also open to external applications with relevant qualifications.

This 10 week course will cover the health and safety relevant to working with domestic animals. You will gain knowledge and practical skills in handling & husbandry of a range of small mammals and exotic species.

This course is designed for individuals who wish to develop their knowledge and skills with a key focus on basic vehicle maintenance. On completion of this programme you will be able to competently complete removal and refitting of component parts such as wheels and tyres, brakes and complete an oil change. There will also be opportunities to look at other systems such as Engines and transmission.

This qualification is designed for people who work on or near electric vehicles and who require the knowledge and skills to correctly and safely isolate and re-energise an electric vehicle.

This part-time course covers the fundamental knowledge and skills you will need to understand and identify normal and abnormal behaviour in a range of animals. You will examine how husbandry and feeding practices influence behaviour and the welfare of a range of animal species.

This course will cover the fundamental knowledge and skills you will need to understand and identify native wildlife. You will gain hands on practical skills in identification as well as what to do if you find an injured wild animal.

This part-time course covers the fundamental knowledge and skills you need to understand and care for a range of exotic and zoo animals, from commonly kept reptiles to zoo species. You will examine the biological differences between species and develop husbandry skills to work with a wide range of reptiles and exotic mammals.
