Within this course you will learn how to structure argument and debate, how to analyse sources and evidence, and how to communicate persuasively. These are all skills that are invaluable in a wide range of university courses such as politics, political studies, political history, literature, business, sociology or international relations.
The EPQ offers the chance for A Level students at ED6 to gain real independence, resilience and maturity as learner, while pursuing any topic of your choosing. It is equivalent to 50% of an A Level and is well regarded by universities as evidence that the transition from college to university will be a smooth one and may be taking in to consideration in their conditional offer or provide additional UCAS point.

The course is delivered on one evening per week. Learners study a total of 60 hours and two units to gain a total of 6 credits. Practical and theoretical tasks are covered in sessions and lead to projects, enabling learners to explore their camera and manipulate images.
