Ian Dawson

Former EDC engineering student Ian Dawson is now a structural engineer and Chartered Civil Engineer who has worked on some of the biggest projects in the UK and beyond, including The Shard and Wembley Arch.

Hear from inspiring former student Ian Dawson, on how EDC helped him on his career path and the incredible success he has gone on to achieve as a structural engineer. Ian is a Chartered Structural Engineer and Chartered Civil Engineer and a Fellow of both institutions; Ian is currently the Design Director at Severfield UK nad worked on a number of landmark structures such as The Shard and the Wembley Arch.
