This course is for individuals who operate and carry out felling and processing medium size trees over 380mm and up to 760mm as part of their work in arboriculture, forestry, or other industries. It will provide the individual with the knowledge, understanding and skills required to carry out this work.

The Level 4 Diploma in Arboriculture is designed for those people working in arboriculture, in both the public and private sectors, to complement their training and experience, and to provide evidence of their knowledge of arboriculture.

The purpose is to introduce basic Carpentry and Joinery skills and knowledge to those who have either no, or very little, prior experience. This is a DIY Carpentry and Joinery course delivered over 12 weeks, 3 hours each session (Thursdays) and is aimed at adults aged 19+ who have an interest in improving their home or might be interested in progressing onto our full time course.

This course covers the skill and knowledge required to use a chainsaw from a rope and harness.
