A Level Geography is designed for students to move on to university study. The skills learnt in A Level Geography can prepare students for a wealth of degree courses. However, most students tend to apply for the courses like Global studies, Geography, Environmental sciences, Politics, Economics, Engineering and the Sciences - depending on their mix of A Level subject.
Within this course you will learn how to structure argument and debate, how to analyse sources and evidence, and how to communicate persuasively. These are all skills that are invaluable in a wide range of university courses such as politics, political studies, political history, literature, business, sociology or international relations.
The EPQ offers the chance for A Level students at ED6 to gain real independence, resilience and maturity as learner, while pursuing any topic of your choosing. It is equivalent to 50% of an A Level and is well regarded by universities as evidence that the transition from college to university will be a smooth one and may be taking in to consideration in their conditional offer or provide additional UCAS point.
