Houghall Campus Higher Education & Access to HE Open Morning - Saturday 8th February 2025

Come and find out all about how our Access to Higher Education Diplomas in Animal Science and Veterinary Science, our FdSc Foundation degree in Animal Management and our BSc (Hons) in Animal Management (top up) and find your perfect path into an exciting career in the world of animal care, animal science and animal management.

Our Foundation Degree and top BSc (Hons) degree in Animal Management programmes, run in association with the University of Sunderland, can help you find your dream job within animal-related organisations. Potential career opportunities include wildlife officers, protected area managers, teaching, animal keepers, animal trainers, reserve wardens, wildlife rangers and environmental education to name but a few.

Our Access to HE Veterinary Science pathway is perfect for students who aspire to study for a veterinary-related degree and has been specifically designed as a stepping stone to qualifying as a Veterinary Surgeon or Veterinary Nurse. The course is a level 3 equivalent, which enables students to apply for a veterinary degree without the need for A Levels. Likewise, the Animal Science pathway can lead to a host of animal science and animal management degree courses including our own!
