Construct Your Career with Brickwork at East Durham College
With construction popping up everywhere around us, there's more demand for experienced bricklayers than ever before.
The construction industry offers fantastic opportunities for qualified bricklayers. A poll by the Federation of Master Builders (FMB) found that the average bricklayer salary was £42,034 (2018). Another FMB’s survey, in 2020, found that a highly skilled self employed tradesperson working six days a week will earn on average £53,200 a year.
With a brickwork course at East Durham College, you'll be learning all of the skills you'll need to become a qualified bricklayer, and fantastic industry links mean we work closely with local housing and construction firms to provide progression into some fantastic apprenticeship opportunities to our learners.
