Our AAT Accounting qualifications are open to any adult above the age 19. For the Level 2 course, accountancy is available as both a day and evening course to fit around your life commitments. For level 3, that course is taught one full day per week.
AAT Accountancy is completely open to everyone - no previous experience or qualifications needed. Whether you're looking for your first job in accountancy or simply want to enhance existing accountancy skills, this course is perfect for you.
There's a load of perks to being a student member of AAT too - with membership to the AAT, you can gain study support, careers advice to help you find the perfect job, and exclusive discounts too. It also provides an excellent route directly into chartered accountancy.
If you choose to further your studies with one of the leading chartered professional bodies such as ACCA, CIPFA or CIMA, your AAT qualification will give you generous exemptions.

Funding Your Accountancy Course
Level 2
Subject to your employment status and earnings, if you don’t already hold a full level 2 qualification the course it completely free. Please see the course page for more details.
Level 3
For anyone above the age of 19, this course can be fully funded by the Advanced Learner Loan.
The Advanced Learner Loan is exactly what it sounds like - you take out a student loan, just the same as someone studying at university, to pay for the fees of your AAT course.
Or subject to your employment status and earnings, if you don’t already hold a full level 3 qualification the course is completely free – no need for the Advanced Learner Loan. Result!
