Upon completion of this course, you could progress onto the Level 3 Introductory Diploma in Travel & Tourism, an alternative Level 3 programme (subject to course requirements), Level 3 National Foundation Diploma in Business, side step into an alternative Level 2 course, or into employment at one of the many local and regional travel and tourism organisations or Businesses.
Progression at all levels within this academic area require high levels of attendance, punctuality, and standards of behaviour in accordance with college student codes of conduct and policies.
Minimum end of year grade requirement of Merit is also required.
Entry requirements
Three GCSE's at Grade 3 or full Level 1 Qualification.
You will be required to resit Maths and/or English if you have not achieved a Grade 4.

How is this course assessed?
The course is assessed through internally set and graded assignments, with evidence in the form of a range of methods including visual materials, workbooks, role-play, verbal presentations and teamwork.
Most units are graded at Pass, Merit or Distinction, but some are assessed at a Pass grade. Lecturers ensure realistic industry evidence to provide for variety and different learning styles.
