The Engineering suite, found at our Peterlee Campus, is designed to be a fully collaborative space for our students to work in.

Situated away from the noise of the engineering workshops, students can work in more of a classroom-based setting to carry out work and group tasks, or use the equipment loaded with CAD software to create things virtually before making them in the real world.

The NEIoT Engineering Suite also includes a huge variety of different equipment, including a robot arm, a full virtual reality 3D welding kit (allowing you to try welding without the sparks!) and even our very own miniature 'factory' which simulates different process equipment like you'd find in a factory.
