This course is designed for students new to the construction sector and who have an interest in painting and decorating, providing a basic introduction to decorating skills.

This Level 2 course will help you perfect skills such as applying paint materials by brush and roller, standard wallpapers to non-complex walls, decorative finishes and paint materials by HVLP spray. The main focus of the level 2 programme is to enhance skills, knowledge and behaviours ready for industry. Sessions will be delivered in both a workshop environment (for practical work) and a classroom environment (for theory work). Also incorporated into the study programme will be maths & English, tutorial, work experience, academic tutorial and relevant trips & guest visits.

This course will provide you with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of metalworking techniques, advanced skills in fabrication and welding techniques, and an understanding of the importance of health and safety in the workplace.

The Level 2 Advanced Manufacturing Engineering course has been designed to equip learners with an essential foundation skills developing both the practical skills and theoretical knowledge essential for success in the dynamic field of engineering.
