A level mathematics will allow you to explore and build on the concepts covered within GCSEs and open your mind to new techniques and methods, and develop problem solving and reasoning skills used within thousands of potential careers. You will develop your understanding of pure mathematical concepts and apply your knowledge to real life contexts across statistics, interpreting real life data and mechanics, exploring the forces affecting the world around us.

At ED6's A Level media programme, you'll learn everything from critical analysis of media to essential practical skills in using media equipment such as cameras, microphones and editing software.

A Level Physics at ED6 can open up a wide range of careers and higher education options such as engineering, architecture, mathematics, actuarial science and further research into physics.

A Level Politics will teach you how to structure argument and debate, how to analyse sources and evidence, and how to communicate persuasively. These are all skills that are invaluable in a wide range of university courses such as politics, political studies, political history, literature, business, sociology or international relations.

A Level Psychology is the scientific study of mind and behaviour, and studying will equip you with the skills and knowledge to decode human behaviour in everyday life.

A Level Sociology focuses on the study of society, it is recognised by employers and universities alike as an excellent qualification showing literacy, numeracy and scientific ability. Here at ED6 you will study culture and identity, education, crime and deviance, and beliefs, alongside sociological theory and research methods.

Learn about different types of crime, investigative techniques which are used to catch suspects and how social control is used in society to make us obey laws.

Mathematics in Context is real life maths for real life problems. Explore mathematical concepts the way that the professionals do, exploring theory and immediately applying this to a real life scenario/career where it would be present.

This one-year course provides a strong introduction to scientific theory, whilst supporting you to develop practical and transferable skills, enabling you to progress on to the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Applied Science.

The EPQ offers the chance for A Level students at ED6 to gain real independence, resilience and maturity as learner, while pursuing any topic of your choosing. It is equivalent to 50% of an A Level and is well regarded by universities as evidence that the transition from college to university will be a smooth one and may be taking in to consideration in their conditional offer or provide additional UCAS points.
