Study it because you enjoy it and study it because you are good at it. As an A Level, you will learn so much more than music, you will learn how to stand up and perform, how to compose creatively and how to write analytically. A Level Music will prepare you for things in later life that you may not even be thinking of yet!

Want to work with animals? Our entry-level animal care course, taught at our Houghall Campus in Durham, gives you plenty of experience of working with both small and large animals.

Thinking about joining the army? Or the navy? Considering becoming a police officer? Or fire fighter? If you're thinking about a career in the uniformed public services, this action-packed course is full of practical work and exciting trips that will prepare you for work in the industry.

This qualification has been designed for students with an interest in music performance and/or music production who wish to explore and extend this interest through a full-time, immersive learning experience.

With a Level 3 animal care qualification from EDC, you could move on to university and study a wide variety of animal-related degrees. Study at our state-of-the-art animal care facility at our Houghall campus.

This Level 3 Diploma for Entry to the Uniformed Services course is ideal if you are thinking of pursuing a careers in policing, fire and rescue or any of the military services.

If you love music, this is the course for you! Learn from highly experienced musicians, enhance your musical abilities and perform live on stage at our own theatre and gigs.

This course is designed to prepare you for your journey into the music industry, whether as a performer, composer, producer or facilitator, or for higher education! You will lead on projects, and direct your attention towards your chosen key discipline.

Combine academic study with work-based learning in this two-year Animal Management Foundation Degree. Study at a local partner college, undertake work-based learning opportunities in both years and have the option to ‘top-up’ to a full bachelors degree with a third year of study at East Durham College. This course is subject to final requirements.
