This 10 week course will cover the health and safety relevant to working with domestic animals. You will gain knowledge and practical skills in handling & husbandry of a range of small mammals and exotic species.
This part-time course covers the fundamental knowledge and skills you will need to understand and identify normal and abnormal behaviour in a range of animals. You will examine how husbandry and feeding practices influence behaviour and the welfare of a range of animal species.
This course will cover the fundamental knowledge and skills you will need to understand and identify native wildlife.
You will gain hands on practical skills in identification as well as what to do if you find an injured wild animal.
This part-time course covers the fundamental knowledge and skills you need to understand and care for a range of exotic and zoo animals, from commonly kept reptiles to zoo species. You will examine the biological differences between species and develop husbandry skills to work with a wide range of reptiles and exotic mammals.
