The course is designed to provide learners with the knowledge and understanding of babies and young children from birth to 7 years of age with applied knowledge to work in an early years setting.

This course is designed for people who have passed their Stage 1 Horse Care and are wanting to move onto stage 2 of Horse Care and Lunge.

This 10 week course introduces you to the basics of horse care. It’s a great stepping-stone for people who are keen to work with horses, but don’t have previous experience.

It covers areas such as how to support the well-being of a child or young person and child and young person development. It prepares learners for further learning and training whilst developing an understanding of the teaching and learning environment in a school setting.
