This 10 week course includes aspects of plant establishment, propagation and maintenance. Students will be taught the fundamentals of getting plants started from seeds and cuttings, in both woody and non-woody plants as well as preparing the soil to create ideal conditions for plant growth.
This course covers both tree pruning (formally CS40); aerial pruning operations and looks at crown thinning, crown pruning, crown reduction and pollarding, and aerial tree rigging (formally CS41).
