This course is designed for students new to the construction sector and who have an interest in painting and decorating, providing a basic introduction to decorating skills.

This is a practical course, that also focuses heavily on the theory behind sport and exercise. Topics include fitness testing, sports coaching, anatomy, sports injuries and psychology in sport.

This Level 2 course will help you perfect skills such as applying paint materials by brush and roller, standard wallpapers to non-complex walls, decorative finishes and paint materials by HVLP spray. The main focus of the level 2 programme is to enhance skills, knowledge and behaviours ready for industry. Sessions will be delivered in both a workshop environment (for practical work) and a classroom environment (for theory work). Also incorporated into the study programme will be maths & English, tutorial, work experience, academic tutorial and relevant trips & guest visits.

Want a career in coaching or teaching PE? This Level 3 in Sport and Coaching Development is based around the needs of your potential future employers'. You'll spend some time in the classroom, doing practical sessions in the sports complex and fields and then gain some real work experience working with our coaching company partners.

Want to teach PE? This sports studies course will get you on your way covering subjects like sports nutrition, sports psychology, anatomy and physiology, sports injuries and research methods.

Functional Skills English fast track courses are designed to develop practical skills that will help you in life and the workplace. We offer a range of sessions throughout the week at different locations and are committed to helping our students achieve their goals.

We offer GCSE English courses part-time, with the option to study during the day or an evening. Both options are usually three hours per week with some independent study involved too. This course is ideal for anyone without a GCSE in English, or who would like to improve their grade.
