A Level Sociology focuses on the study of society, it is recognised by employers and universities alike as an excellent qualification showing literacy, numeracy and scientific ability. Here at ED6 you will study culture and identity, education, crime and deviance, and beliefs, alongside sociological theory and research methods.

Level 1 Carpentry and Joinery focuses on developing practical hand skills and enhancing basic underpinning knowledge of relevant industrial processes and techniques.

The purpose is to introduce basic Carpentry and Joinery skills and knowledge to those who have either no, or very little, prior experience. This is a DIY Carpentry and Joinery course is run over 12 weeks, 3 hours each session (Tuesdays) and is aimed at adults, aged 19+, who have an interest in improving their home or might be interested in progressing onto our full time course.
