C&G Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Using a Chainsaw from a Rope and Harness

This course covers the skills and knowledge required for the safe and competent operation of a tractor.

This qualification, formally known as CS30, is about the maintenance of a chainsaw and cross cutting trees is delivered through theory and practical sessions. The course covers safety features, preparing the chainsaw for use with correct fuel and lubrication and cross cutting timber accurately. This unit must be completed before progressing on the further chainsaw courses.
