It is the study of the world around us from a social, financial and cultural perspective, gaining an understanding of economic theories and interrelationships between macro and micro economic issues. Level 1 Carpentry and Joinery focuses on developing practical hand skills and enhancing basic underpinning knowledge of relevant industrial processes and techniques.

The purpose is to introduce basic Carpentry and Joinery skills and knowledge to those who have either no, or very little, prior experience. This is a DIY Carpentry and Joinery course delivered over 12 weeks, 3 hours each session (Thursdays) and is aimed at adults aged 19+ who have an interest in improving their home or might be interested in progressing onto our full time course.
