We offer GCSE English courses part-time, with the option to study during the day or an evening. Both options are usually three hours per week with some independent study involved too. This course is ideal for anyone without a GCSE in English, or who would like to improve their grade.

Study Maths GCSE part time with us during the daytime and on an evening attending for 2 1/2 hours per week at our Peterlee Campus.

The course aims to develop your essential digital skills so you feel confident doing a range of things on a mobile, tablet, laptop or PC. As the course aims to develop your confidence and skills it is best for you to have your own device to learn on that you can bring into college.

The course is a Level 1 Award in Creative Craft with the emphasis on sewing and textiles, delivered over two evenings per week for six weeks. A range of sewing and textiles areas will be introduced through short projects that build into a portfolio

The level 1 programme is designed to provide you with an introduction to the knowledge and technical skills required in music production. Using a hands-on focus, learners will explore the basics of studio recording, effectively use different microphones to record live audio, and use digital audio software to record and mix tracks.

This course provides an ideal opportunity for anyone wishing to start their journey of working or volunteering in schools. It covers areas such as how to support the well-being of a child or young person and child and young person development. It prepares learners for further learning and training whilst developing an understanding of the teaching and learning environment in a school setting.

Interested in becoming a qualified gym instructor? If so this is the perfect course for you! This qualification is aimed at the learner who wants to pursue a career in the health and fitness industry as a fitness instructor in the context of gym-based exercise.

The Level 2 Certificate in Music Technology is an ideal qualification for learners who wish to develop their underpinning knowledge of the processes and principles of music production. The qualification provides learners with a good insight into the skills and knowledge they require, not only for working in the music industry, but also for employment in general.
