Build yourself up a future career as a bricklayer with this brickwork course, taught at East Durham College's fantastic bricklaying workshop at our Peterlee campus.
Gain skills in planning and producing, researching and creating, filming and advertising and using digital technology. You will have the chance to work in photography, gaming, animation, radio, podcasting and moving images to name but a few.
The qualification has been designed for students who have an interest in music performance and/or music production who wish to explore and extend this interest via a full-time, immersive learning experience.
On completion of the course you will perfect skills such as how to apply paint materials by brush and roller, apply standard wallpapers to non-complex walls, apply decorative finishes and apply paint materials by HVLP spray.
This qualification gives you a rounded approach, not just to performing but to the industry as a whole. You will gain experience in dance, drama, vocals and production arts.
The course is quite practical in nature but also focuses heavily on the theory behind sport and exercise. Topics include fitness testing, sports coaching, anatomy, sports injuries and psychology in sport.
