That's right - our sports development centres are open to all students at the college, no matter what you're studying!
State-Of-The-Art Basketball Training Facilities and Coaching
At East Durham College, our sports facilities are absolutely second-to-none.
So, if you're thinking about joining our basketball sports development centre, you'll get access to all of the following:
- Amazing Coaching - eight hours coaching every week by our highly qualified professional basketball coaching team
- Play - EDC basketball students get the opportunity to compete against other colleges in the North East basketball league
- Basketball Facilities - in our huge double sports hall you'll find two basketball courts, plus a full-sized basketball arena with a seating capacity of up to 500 people!
- FREE Gym Facilities - all students at EDC get access to our fully-equipped, state-of-the-art gym, Impact Health and Fitness. Better yet - it's completely FREE while you're studying with us. Inside you'll find free weights as well as a range of cardiovascular, strength and conditioning training kit, secure changing facilities and more!
- FREE Physiotherapy - if you pick up any injuries or problems during your time with us, our professional physio service will have you back playing at your best in no time
- Free Bus Travel - thanks to our partnership with Arriva, you can travel to and from college completely free of charge!
