  • You will need to already have a grade 4 or higher in GCSE maths and English.

Find out about courses that could lead you into a career in the world of animal care, animal science and animal management.

Courses:

Our Access to HE Animal Science pathway can lead to a host of animal science and animal management degree courses including our Animal Management top up degree.

Our Access to HE Veterinary Science pathway is for students wanting to study for a veterinary-related degree

  • A level 3 equivalent, which enables students to apply for a veterinary degree without the need for A Levels.
  • Designed as a stepping stone to qualifying as a Veterinary Surgeon or Veterinary Nurse.

Our foundation degree and top up degree in Animal Management run in association with the University of Sunderland

  • Potential career opportunities include wildlife officers, protected area managers, teaching, animal keepers, animal trainers, reserve wardens, wildlife rangers and environmental education to name but a few.
