The public sector is absolutely huge. Millions of people across the UK and beyond work in the public sector.
But what actually is 'the public sector' anyway? Well, it's kinda an umbrella term for loads of different things.
Industries which come under the public sector include:
- The Armed Forces
- Civil Service
- The NHS
- Teaching
- Police
- Social Care
So, as an apprentice in the public sector, you could be working in loads of different areas doing a wide variety of different jobs!
