The hospitality sector is big business - everywhere you go, there's restaurants, theatres, cafés, bars, pubs, hotels and loads of other places that require friendly customer service people working in hospitality.
As a hospitality apprentice, the actual work you do will vary depending on where you work. For example, you might be a front-of-house professional working on a busy hotel reception desk, or you could even be a waiter in a restaurant, ensuring hungry guests get their right orders.
The role could also involve training to become a chef too depending on the requirements of the employer.
Earning While You're Learning
Apprenticeships are like work experience, except you get paid too!
In fact, they combine the best parts of learning on the job from experienced staff members with an apprenticeship wage for you in recognition of your hard work.
If you work hard, prove yourself and the organisation you work for has an opening after you're done with your apprenticeship, there's a strong chance that the company may also offer you a full-time position afterwards too.
